American Consumer Credit Counseling last week announced a leadership restructuring and series of appointments following the recent death of the company’s co-founder Steven Trumble.

Steven Trumble

Trumble, 67, died March 1. He co-founded American Consumer Credit Counseling (ACCC) in 1991 – providing budget counseling services to individual consumers in Waltham. Today, ACCC is headquartered in Newton and is one of the leading nonprofit debt management and credit counseling agencies in the United States.

The company announced that Allen Amadin, of Burlington, has been named president and CEO, and Katie Ross, of Needham, named executive vice president. Additionally, Tracey Macomber, of Walpole, was named vice president of governance, and Donna Conley, Trimble’s first employee when he opened the business, of Walpole, will remain as vice president. The leadership restructuring was part of an existing ACCC succession plan that Trumble had established.
