James B. “Jim” Frost was named to his heavenly house with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 25, 2020, at the age of 86. 

Born on Jan. 5, 1934, Jim recognized Jesus Christ as his Savior as a youthful gentleman, owning been introduced to Him by a nurturing loved ones who dependable and liked God with a deep abiding faith.  Jim invited Jesus into his own heart and so authorized his everyday living to become a “Bethlehem” for the Son of God, and a spot of the “rebirth” of Christ in him.  As a result, God contacting Jim dwelling to Himself on Christmas Day was further more proof of Christ’s living presence in Jim’s lifetime.

Jim experienced an infectious persona and engaged men and women with a heart entire of really like, an encouraging smile, and a joyful frame of mind, no matter how demanding everyday living might have been at periods.  He fulfilled the setbacks that he encountered in everyday living with bravery, and a have confidence in and faith in God to usually see him via.  Jim lived his everyday living with a steadfast belief that “when the going gets hard, the tricky get going”.

Jim was a licensed general public accountant in Chattanooga for over 50 decades.  He graduated from Red Lender Substantial University in 1952 exactly where he excelled in taking part in football, baseball, and basketball.  Sporting activities were being always a big aspect of Jim’s everyday living as he coached and mentored his son and other younger boys in Dixie Youth baseball for lots of years as a younger adult.

Jim graduated  from the University of Chattanooga in 1956 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business enterprise as an accounting significant.  He obtained the award for staying the leading accounting college student in his graduating course. Throughout his career, Jim obtained four other companies to mature his follow and operated satellite offices in Cleveland, Athens, and Jasper, Tennessee. Jim was preceded in dying by his mom and dad, Mildred “Sally” Frost and Chester Frost, previous Hamilton County Decide, and his brother, Jack.  The Chester Frost Park of Hamilton County was named in honor of Jim’s father.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 41 decades, Lavone, daughter, Kathy Baker, son, Robert “Bob” (Heather) Frost, and grandchildren, Mary Jane (Jason) Broge, Mark Hendrix, Tiffany (Jackson) White, Hayden Frost, Preston Frost, and fantastic-grandchildren, Parker Broge, Emma Jane Broge, Hannah Kate Broge, Josiah Broge, Lily Hendrix, and Liam Hendrix.
