Gastonia gentleman earns notable award from Wingate University
A recent university grad from Gastonia was not long ago awarded for his decades of hard work while researching at Wingate University.

Kyle Matthew Ring, who graduated from Forestview Substantial School in 2017 and lives in Gastonia, received the university’s A.F. Hendricks Award through Wingate’s previously this month.
The award memorializes A.F. Hendricks – a previous Wingate professor – and his warm spirit, his sincere curiosity in persons and his devotion to Christian training.
Ring came to Wingate as a management major in the university’s college of small business, but he shifted to finance and then to accounting.
He was a resident assistant for three years and a tutor for two years. When he was not studying, he was an lively member of Wingate’s biology club and Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity.
Sergio Castello, dean of Wingate’s Porter B. Byrum University of Business and Ring’s adviser, observed that Ring exhibited a substantial amount of maturity, integrity and self-self-control throughout his time at Wingate.
“He was always wondering about the best route ahead. He also confirmed terrific leadership, time-administration and arranging capabilities. He experienced the potential to examine challenges and locate methods,” Castello wrote in a assertion.
Ring started doing the job for Red Ventures, a portfolio of a number of distinctive providers headquartered in Fort Mill, South Carolina, just after ending courses in December 2020. He plans to go after a master’s in accounting at the College of South Carolina setting up this tumble.
