Marjorie Nell Fenner Bolling
HOUSTON — Marjorie Nell Fenner Bolling was born July 11, 1923 in Cordele, Texas. She commenced her eternal social gathering with Jesus April 29, 2021 at Clarewood Home in Houston at the age of 97.
Marjorie Nell lived on the loved ones farm in Cordele till fourth quality, when her relatives moved to Edna. Following substantial college, she attended the College of Texas, majoring in accounting. She obtained quite a few honors, graduating Beta Gamma Sigma, the organization equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa. She was always very pleased of her burnt orange heritage.
Right after college, Nell moved to Houston and labored for Humble Oil in Accounting. She loved getting property with her little ones for ten several years until 1956, when she commenced a 38 year job with Arthur Andersen and Firm, serving as the controller for the Houston business office. Nell was lively at To start with United Methodist Church given that 1943. She had a lot of expensive friends there, significantly in the Adelphi Course. She was elected Life time Member of the church’s administrative board. Nell was energetic in the Houston Enterprise Forum and was elected the Lady of the 12 months. She was a constitution member of the Heritage Club board and also served on the Clarewood board 28 years. In her totally free time, Nell relished cooking, taking part in bridge, and traveling, but her favorite moments have been put in savoring her family.
She is preceded in loss of life by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. O. B. Fenner Sr, her brothers Excitement Fenner and wife Edwina, Donnie Fenner, her sister LaNoe Scherer and husband Paul. She is survived by her sister-in-law Fern Fenner and her kids LaNoe Westheimer and husband Robert, Bob Bolling and wife Susan, grandchildren David Westheimer and spouse J’aime, Lisa Drever and partner Nathan, Melanie Bolling Schmidt and partner Rob, Harrison Bolling and spouse Whitney, 10 wonderful-grandchildren and a lot of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family is grateful to the Christian Companions and Clarewood team for the exceptional and loving care they gave Nell.
There will be a memorial assistance at Clarewood House, 7400 Clarewood Generate in Houston Friday, June 11th at 10 am. An more company will be held the upcoming day in Edna, Texas at the 1st United Methodist Church at 3 pm.
