MONNIN, Marilyn Irene
Age 84, of Fairfield, OH, peacefully handed away March 23, 2021, at her residence with her family members nearby. Marilyn was born May 7, 1936, to Cletus and Ethel (Alcock) Jeckering in Dayton, OH. She graduated from Julienne Significant School as the valedictorian. Afterwards in lifetime, she took accounting programs at Miami University’s department
campus in Hamilton so that she could manage the publications for the spouse and children business enterprise, ServiceMaster. Marilyn labored as an
accountant for other firms as very well. All through superior faculty, Marilyn met and commenced relationship Norbert Monnin. They married just after graduation, have been married for 36 yrs, and experienced 6
kids, Vicky (Jim) Weyer, Steve (Susan) Monnin, Jeff
(Darlene) Monnin, Chris (Kathy) Monnin, Dianne (Scott) Coon, and Tod Monnin. Marilyn also experienced 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Marilyn was really energetic in her church,
Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Fairfield, OH, where by she taught CCD and prepared and worked at numerous church festivals. In 1995, she also finished the program to grow to be a Lay
Pastoral Minister which she was very happy of obtaining. Marilyn beloved paying out time with her relatives and good friends,
traveling, and gardening. While elevating her household, she beloved to go on holiday and camp. Marilyn was predeceased by her moms and dads, Cletus and Ethel Jeckering her husband, Norbert Monnin her brothers, Jimmy and Robert Jeckering and her grandson, Daniel Monnin. Marilyn is survived by her kids grandchildren, David, Heather, Amanda, Matt, Ben, Marie,
Katie, Tyler, Ava and Zach and terrific-grandchildren, Sophia, Clara, Audriana, and Remi. Visitation will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Fairfield, OH from 10-11am Monday, March 29, 2021. Mass will commence at 11am led by Father Larry Tharp and Interment will comply with in Rose Hill Burial Park in Hamilton, OH. In lieu of bouquets, memorial contributions could be designed to the Daniel Monnin Scholarship Fund (danielmonnin.com) or the Alzheimer’s Association (act.alz.org/donate).
