Rex H. Kaup, 68, of Altoona, passed away at UPMC Shadyside Clinic of Pittsburgh, after a courageous battle with lymphoma. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Glenn H. and Elizabeth (Seyfert) Kaup.

Rex married Bonnie K. Baker on July 11, 1970.

He is survived by his loving spouse and daughters, Candice Kaup (William Schroeher) of Arlington, Va., and Courtney Kaup (Karin P. Ward) of Richmond, Vt. and a few grandsons: Ethan, Ryan and Greyson Schroeher.

Rex was a 1970 graduate of Altoona Space Higher Faculty and went on to pursue a bachelor of science degree in accounting with a insignificant in journalism from the Smeal Higher education of Business enterprise at The Pennsylvania State University in 1973.
