DAVID “DAVE” KENT SPRINGMANN, 66, of Valparaiso, Ind., handed away peacefully on Wednesday, May well 26, 2021, at household surrounded by his spouse and children. He succumbed to a uncommon gastric most cancers which he battled for in excess of a year. Born in 1954 in Gary, Ind., he was a son of Attorney Glenn W. Springmann and Ruth (nee Warner) Springmann. He practiced in numerous capacities for providers in Chicago, Portage, Valparaiso and Fort Wayne in a job that spanned 40 a long time. Soon after residing and working in Fort Wayne for 15 yrs, Dave and Theresa returned to Valparaiso in 2018 and rejoined Saint Paul Catholic Church. Dave joined the Knights of Columbus Valparaiso Council 738 and the Saint Paul Catholic Church Men’s Club, serving as President in 2019 to 1920. He is survived by his wife of 41 decades, “the Hon” Theresa Lazar Springmann and sons, Glenn “Gus” Francis (Jeana) Springmann of Chicago, Unwell., and Anthony “Tony” Kent (Cassidy) Springmann of Carmel, Ind. Also surviving are his Springmann nephews, niece, fantastic nephews and fantastic niece sister-in-regulation, Joyce Springmann of Racine, Wis. and a multitude of Lazar relatives associates. His more mature brother, Thomas “Tom” E. Springmann, predeceased him in 2007. Dave’s most cherished reminiscences were being of time used with his relatives. He used to say that “life actually commenced when our sons have been born!” His boys ended up his pleasure and joy. He will be remembered by all who understood him for his kindness, generosity and excellent humor. His only regret in lifestyle: not growing up to participate in soccer for the Chicago Bears. A non-public interment company will be held for speedy family members at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Ind., on June 9, 2021. Memorial Mass is 10 a.m. (CST) Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Saint Paul Catholic Church, in Valparaiso, with a Celebration of Life visitation at 9 a.m. The Reverend Jeff Burton officiating.
